The Glen Innes to Tāmaki Drive Shared Path - Te Ara Ki Uta Ki Tai (the path of land and sea) is a joint project that will deliver a 7km-long path that connects Auckland’s eastern suburbs to the city centre. Section 4 is the final section running from Ōrākei Basin to Tāmaki Drive.

Section 4 which has been split into subsection 4a, 4b and 4c commences at the Ōrākei Rail Station and ends where it joins Tamaki Drive.

Section 4b is a bridge and boardwalk within the coastal marine area. It is currently at the specimen design stage. Section 4b is highly construction method sensitive in terms of foundations, structural arrangements and what construction plant would be suitable and cost effective, therefore contractor input is required in the Section 4b detailed design stage.

This RFP is to invite Suppliers to submit a proposal for Early Contractors Involvement (ECI) for delivery of Section 4b Glen Innes to Tamaki Drive Shared Path (Ōrākei Basin – Tamaki Drive).
