Tender Description
This Contract involves the implementation of necessary remediation techniques for concrete repairs to the Inlet Works structure at Park Avenue STP. The existing inlet works of the Park Avenue STP have suffered from different severity levels of hydrogen sulphide (H2S) gas attack, with the flow splitter box being the worst affected.
The purpose of these remediation works is to extend the design life of this STP by reinstating the concrete in the inlet works back to an identified acceptable level. The Works include installing selected coating systems and liners to further improve the future durability of the remediated work.
As the Park Avenue STP is critical infrastructure, particularly during regular daytime hours, all works will need to be conducted during identified shutdown periods and during the night to minimise disruption to the operation of the plant. This will require careful pre-planning including contingency / backup plans from the tenderer.
