Tender Description

Scope of work

The Tom Price Low Grade plant has been operation for some 60 years, given the technological advances made in that time, consideration is now being given to upgrading a number of components of the concentrator plant to improve the efficiency of separation and recovery of presently misreported Saleable Ore Product. The Spirals and associated infrastructure is at the end of its serviceable life and require replacement. RTIO have identified a variety of streams within the tailings discharge where there area opportunities to improve the efficiency of the system and extract additional SOP. The scope would include, but not limited to the following:

• Gathering site data from the current operational model

• Review and provide engineering support to improve or rectify the current system deficiencies.

• Provide detailed engineering drawings and calculations to upgrade/replace the spirals, piping, collection tanks (Sump), pumps, cyclones, structures, foundations, instrumentation, electrical components and controls.

• Provide a PFS level option study report that identify further options to improve SOP recovery.

Expression of Interest are being sought from suitably qualified contractors to Tender on the Engineering with experience in brownfield replacement and upgrade of heavy mineral separation equipment like spirals in the Iron Ore industry.
