Provision of Roadside Slashing and Spraying Services

⁠⁠⁠Council is seeking services from a Contractor for Slashing and Spraying to maintain sight lines / benches at road junctions and to maintain sight benches where they occur adjacent to the road. The Services to be performed by the Contractor are to Slash and Spray the roadside verges of each side of roads in the rural and selective urban roads of the Kingborough Municipality.

The Slashing and Spraying of roadside verges will be required at least once per annum within the Slashing and Spraying Season (usually 1st October until 28th February) and in accordance with a programming schedule provided by the Principal.

These services are required only within Southern Tasmania for the Kingborough Municipality that includes Bruny Island.

When estimating Spot Spray requirements in Urban Areas of Kingborough Mainland the estimated total Road Length is approximately 157,000 metres

Kingborough Mainland Urban estimated road length is 157,000 metres

Kingborough Mainland Rural estimated road length is 292,000 metres

Bruny Island Urban estimated road length is 8100 Metres

Bruny Island Rural Estimated road length is 94,000 Metres
