Tender Description
This invitation is called for the provision of works for the renewal of sewer pipes in Kingaroy and includes:
693m of OD315 PE100 SDR17 installed via pipe bursting in the same alignment as the existing DN300 concrete pipes. Note that these assets are deteriorated, and pressure cleaning might not be feasible. Majority are under existing structures. The Tenderer should check suitability of the specified pipe for pulling forces and loading. Tenderer to inform SBRC if they will offer an alternative pipe specification or alternative renewal method, i.e. relining.
Installation of fold and form or cure in place liners, including pre-cleaning with pressure wash, grinding of roots and deposits and protrusions, for:
- 1969m of existing DN150 pipes consisting of vitreous clay and asbestos cement pipes.
- 853m of existing DN225 pipes consisting of concrete pipes, vitreous clay pipes, asbestos cement, and PVC pipes.
Installation of spiral wound liners, including pre-cleaning with pressure wash, grinding of roots and deposits and protrusions, for:
- 552m of existing DN300 pipes consisting of concrete pipes.
- 326m of existing DN375 pipes consisting of concrete pipes.
