Tender Description
The City of Bayswater is a metropolitan local government and owns and operates the Bayswater Waves Aquatic Centre in Embleton.
The intent of this Request for Tender (RFT) is to appoint an appropriately qualified and experienced contractor to:
Carry out annual major scheduled servicing and maintenance to pool plant equipment.
This includes:
- Filters (enclosed gravity, sand pressure, ultra-violet (UV) and ultra-fine UFF);
- Chlorine gas dosing system and components including sensors, probes, caps, electrolytes and calibration of controllers;
- Soda ash pumps and associated infrastructure;
- Pool make-up system;
- Balance tank foot valves; and
- Circulation and dosing pumps.
- a) Carry out monthly routine safety inspections, replacement of consumables, recommended adjustments and recalibration and so on. The Principle may decide to exclude item (b) from the contract however if included, it will contain:
- Pool water circulation pipework, valves, gauges and couplings;
- Filters (enclosed gravity, sand pressure and ultra-violet (UV) and ultra-fine (UFF);
- Circulation and dosing pumps; and
- Primary and secondary automated water treatment (chlorine gas, soda ash and ultraviolet) including probes and controllers.
