Tender Description
Sydney Trains operates the Ballast Recycling Centre (BRC) at Chullora which is licenced by the NSW Environment Protection Authority (EPA) for ‘Waste Storage’ and ‘Resource Recovery’ to facilitate the processing of ballast spoil generated from railway activities. (Environment Protection Licence (EPL) No 7515)
Further to the aboveBallast spoil can only be accepted by Chullora BRC if it meets the General Solid Waste classification as described in the Waste Classification Guidelines. This procurement project is to select a suitably compliant contractor to develop a Sampling, Analysis and Quality Plan (SAQP) to demonstrate compliance with Sydney Trains’ EPL and the applicable Resource Recovery Orders (RROs) followed by the implementation of a Routine Sampling Program (RSP).
Governed by the Environmental Protection Agency and Sydney Trains compliance specifics the tenderers will be required to the Request For Tender Documentation specifics to develop and submit an appropriate compliant submission in order to be considered.
