Background
Goondiwindi Regional Council (“Council”) is the owner of the Golden Age Centre (also known as PCYC Riverview Function Centre) at 68 Elizabeth Drive, Goondiwindi, Lot 4 on SP146068.
Council is inviting interested persons to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to enter into a commercial lease arrangement for this facility.
As per Local Government Regulations 2012, Council will shortlist preferred EOI Respondents and invite written tender responses from shortlisted Respondents prior to determining the final lessee.
The Offering
Council will enter into a commercial lease based on Rent, plus GST, plus Outgoings (including a service schedule for fittings). Shortlisted Respondents will have an opportunity to request conditions or exemptions from the standard commercial lease terms.
The site is currently approved for ‘community use’ and ‘function facility’. We recommend that all Respondents seek advice from Council about the intended use to determine if any planning or building approvals are required.
