Tender Description
Wodonga City Council is seeking to establish a sustainable 5km all-weather walking trail loop suitable for people to explore the natural environment along a section of the Murray River located within the natural boundaries of Gateway Island, Wodonga. The proposed 2m wide trail will provide both cultural and natural riverine experiences while also providing opportunities for passive recreational pursuits such as walking, running & cycling. The trail will also be designed for small wheeled vehicles such as motorised wheelchairs to enable access for people with mobility impairments.
Works as part of this tender will include woody weed removal, minor earthworks, all weather trail construction, structural steel works, installation of street furniture/signage and farm fencing.
