Provision of Child Health Facilities within the Perth Metropolitan Area

⁠⁠⁠Child and Adolescent Health Service – Community Health (CAHS-CH) promotes healthy outcomes for infants, young children and their families through a comprehensive approach to service delivery. This includes universal and targeted prevention, early detection, early intervention activities and appropriate referral systems. The core business of CAHS-CH covers:

• Child Health Services
• School Health Services
• Child Development Services
• Immunisations
• At risk services, with a focus on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and refugee families
• Health promotion, capacity building and community development.

The CAHS-CH Child Health Service is delivered by Child Health Nurses who are registered nurses with post graduate qualifications in child and family health. Services include a universal schedule of child health and developmental assessments to children at key developmental ages. Targeted and specialist programs are also offered which support parents/carers to optimise the health, wellbeing and development of the infant/child.

CAHS-CH is seeking Expressions of Interests (EOI) from organisations that may have rent free space available for use by CAHS-CH. Respondents should note there will be no rental fees paid to the successful provider/s for the use of the facility / room. Outgoings for day-to-day premises’ costs directly related to the use of the facility / room will be considered. Furniture and equipment will be provided by CAHS-CH.
