Expression of Interest - Operator: Gunnedah Regional Saleyards Canteen

⁠⁠⁠Gunnedah Shire Council is seeking expressions of interest for an operator to run the existing Gunnedah Regional Saleyards Canteen.

The Gunnedah Regional Saleyards is located on the outskirts of Gunnedah and is managed by Gunnedah Shire Council. This is an exciting opportunity for a commercial or community group, with Gunnedah's livestock selling centre one of the top four performing saleyards in NSW.

The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to provide quality food and beverages to patrons of the Gunnedah Saleyards, excellent customer service and will be able to operate in accordance with necessary regulations and food safety legislation.

The canteen will be required to operate each sale Tuesday, for additional store sale days (generally occurring on Wednesdays or Thursdays) and at other times for special events. There is capacity for trading hours to be extended in consultation with Council.

Operators will be responsible for gas connection to the canteen and will be required to pay rent to Council for the use of the premises in the amount of a quarterly payment of $880.00 inclusive of GST. The lease will be for a period of three years or until the finalisation of the construction of the new saleyards canteen building.

Council Administration Building, 63 Elgin Street, or emailed to council@infogunnedah.com.au.

Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any quotation. Canvassing of Councillors or Council staff will disqualify prospective suppliers.
