Tender Description
BRIEF DESCRIPTION
The project scope includes the following:
- project development activities to finalise the Project scope and design standards; and
- design and construction of the Swan River Crossings, which includes road and rail infrastructure, as well as provision of an improved pedestrian/cyclist pathway (separating pedestrians and cyclists) over the Swan River.

PLEASE NOTE
Main Roads requires prospective Proponents to confirm in writing their intention to submit a Proposal by 5pm on 21 August 2020. Notifications of intention to submit a Proposal must be emailed to contract202.19@mainroads.wa.gov.au and include the following:
the Proponent’s intention to formally submit a Proposal;
the entities which make up the consortium submitting the Proposal (if applicable); and
name(s) of personnel from these entities who require ongoing access to the Project web portal.
“The Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016 (Building Code) applies to the building work associated with this project. By submitting an expression of interest in, or tender for, this project, you will become subject to the Code for the Tendering and Performance of Building Work 2016. Refer to the Building Code at employment.gov.au/building-code for further information.”
“It is a requirement of this project that any persons contracted to undertake the building work be accredited under the Australian Government Building and Construction WHS Accreditation Scheme established by the Building and Construction (Improving Productivity) Act 2016, at the time of the RFP closing for the building work and while the building work is being carried out.
Tenderers intending to submit a bid as a Joint Venture must review the additional requirements as outlined by Section 26(1)(f) of the Fair Work (Building Industry – Accreditation Scheme) Regulations 2016 by the Federal Safety Commission (located at http://www.fsc.gov.au)”
