Tender Description
Attend site to undertake six monthly inspections and servicing to all lifts nominated in the passenger lift register below. The successful contractor must notify Council if additional servicing should be considered for any lifts.
Services are to be conducted by technicians qualified in the maintenance of vertical transport equipment with industry recognised practices. All work is to be in accordance with AS1735 Lifts, Escalators and Moving Walks
The successful contractor must provide an annual servicing program and schedule and ensure one weeks' notice is provided prior to any service being undertaken.
The successful contractor must provide an annual report on each lift detailing all visits to site, identifying call outs, breakdowns and service visits. The report must identify the cost for each visit and total annual maintenance cost for the lift. The report must be supplied in Microsoft excel or approved similar editable format.
Additional Information
The successful contractor must inform Council of any issues identified during the scheduled service and inspection. And as requested, provide cost estimates or quotes for any works that fall outside of the general maintenance requirements.
The successful contractor must be available for emergency call-outs and provide contact details for after hour's service.
This contract will be for an initial period of two (2) years with two options to extend by a further two (2) years at Councils discretion (2 year initial period + 2 year option + 2 year option). The submitted rates will be adjusted annually in accordance with the "All Groups" CPI reported by the Australian Bureau of Statistics.
