Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Shire of Mundaring is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced contractor to refurbish tiling around pool edges, side beams and end beams at the Mt Helena Aquatic Centre.

The contractor is required to supply all material, labour, plant and equipment to undertake the works to replace tiles around the pool edges, side beams & end beams and install removable dive platform fittings in the deep-end beam.

Scope includes but is not limited to;

Remove all existing bull nose tiling to headwalls and front edge of wet deck gutter;
Remove all existing render to pool hobs back to sound substrate to enable tiling;
Prepare, render and tile pool hobs (outside face, top, inside face);
Supply and install new bull nose tile to front edge of wet deck gutter;
Supply and install water jet depth marking and safety signage including but not limited to do not dive, shallow water and other symbols currently stencilled onto pool hobs and concourse;
Supply and install new silicon jointing where tiling works are completed to Australian Standards;
Supply and install 8 x SR Smith "Kwik Anchor" removable start block anchors to deep end headwall;
Supply and install new earthing to 8 x Anchors (no existing earth present); and
Allow all costs for protection of existing surfaces, rubbish removal & clean up. (Pool empty and refill by others).
