Expression of Interest - Johns Matthews Sporting Complex – Tennis Centre

⁠⁠⁠Council seeks Expressions of Interest from interested persons/companies to lease the 17 Tennis courts and tennis clubhouse facility for the purpose of providing tennis related services for the community including coaching, competitions, tournaments and other related Tennis activities and events.

The following outlines the basic conditions/requirements:

· The Bathurst Tennis Centre is offered on an “As is” basis;

· Lease period will be for five (5) years;

· Twenty ($20m) million Public Liability insurance coverage for all associated activities on site for the duration of lease term;

· Staffing of the Bathurst Tennis Centre is the responsibility of lessee;

· A copy of the proposed lease, outlining the terms and conditions of the lease can be dowloaded .

· If the applicant is a company, Council will require the individual Directors of that Company to be named as Guarantors of the lease.

Please submit your Expression of Interest quoting No. 36.00557 in a sealed and marked envelope “Expression of Interest – Tennis Centre” by 4.00 pm on Tuesday 15 September 2020 in the Quotation Box located on the ground floor at Council’s Civic Centre. Please include any previous leasing history and proposed license payment GST inclusive.

The lobbying or liaison with Councilors prior to the consideration of expressions of interest by Council will lead to the rejection of the offending expression.
