Contractor Briefing 2020/21 - Capital Works Programme Procurement

⁠⁠⁠The Council is looking to meet with interested local contractors to inform the industry of the proposed 3 Waters, Green Spaces and Roading work programme for 2020/21 and beyond, and also changes we are making in how we plan, procure and manage for our capital works.

The briefing will focus on providing to local contractors:
a. A breakdown of upcoming construction contracts, including approximate size and intended tender upload date, across the water, sewerage, stormwater, solid waste, green spaces and roading areas.
b. We'll also indicate the process and timing to determine the coming 10 year spend, and the likely issues the Council will be balancing.
c. We'll also take the opportunity to let you know about the changes in our procurement strategy, including increased emphasis on sustainability, public value and competitive tension.
