⁠⁠⁠Proposed South West Sydney Regional Waste Services Procurement Project Industry Consultation - Call for Comments

Camden, Campbelltown City, Liverpool City, Wingecarribee Shire and Wollondilly Shire Councils are preparing to tender for the region's future waste disposal and/or processing services that will commence in July 2024.

The Councils are seeking processing/disposal services for the following four waste streams:
a. Mixed Waste
b. Clean Up Waste
c. Organics
d. Recycling

The Request for Tender (RFT) documentation has been drafted following a previous round of Industry Engagement undertaken by the Councils in late 2019. That consultation sought industry feedback on the services sought, the proposed timeline and the current legislative and regulatory settings.

It is the Councils' intention to now further engage with interested proponents to seek feedback and comments on the draft RFT documentation.

Interested Proponents are invited to review the draft RFT documents in accordance with the Call for Comments.

Nothing in the Call for Comments is an offer from the Councils to enter into any agreement with any Proponent for the services outlined. No warranty is made by the Councils that any particular changes will be adopted by the Councils in the final RFT documentation to be released as a Request for Tenders. The Councils will consider all comments provided by Proponents in finalising the RFT documentation prior to issue.
