The Invitation for Expressions of Interest is for a cafe business to operate from our shipping container cafe and courtyard service area as a daytime cafe/evening restaurant with BYO and liquor licence options.
This business opportunity will play a central role to the daily operation, attraction and atmosphere of the MET. The café’s role is to host, feed and water the local community – from construction and professional workers, to creatives and freelancers working in the Workspace, as well as supporting direct programming and external events that will be held within the MET throughout the year. This opportunity is about getting in at the beginning – working with the team to be a part of establishing the identity of the MET.
The proposed 2-year licence agreement has favourable rates, event catering and extended trading options.
