BHP is currently undertaking a Selection Phase Study (SPS), assessing the viability of a future brownfields investment at its Olympic Dam operation, a project known as the ‘BFX Project’. Future phases of the BFX Project are Definition Phase Study (DPS) and on-site Execution (EXE).
The BFX Project Team (Adelaide based) is aiming to set new standards in health, safety and environmental performance and to do this, is looking to undertake a benchmarking study to identify emerging trends, best practice health and safety arrangements within the minerals industry and also outside the minerals industry.
(Note that “arrangements” refers to how the client establishes and implements their safety and health system.)
The services of a strategic workplace HSE expert (the “Expert”) is required to undertake this health, safety and environmental benchmarking study.
