Water Quality Services

⁠⁠⁠The City of Salisbury (the Council) invites Tenders for the provision of the Water Quality Services (the Services). The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.

The Council requires Water Quality Services on a routine schedule basis. Salisbury Water, a business unit of Council requires these services for two functions:

1. To meet EPA license obligations for Managed Aquifer Recharge (MAR).
2. To ensure water supplied to customer meets the quality requirements for a ‘fit-for-purpose’

Salisbury Water also requires routine cleaning and accuracy checks of in-line probes and instrumentation and full calibration of all instrumentation on a quarterly basis.

Other departments within Council may also require services on an adhoc basis. This will most likely relate to a pollution or contamination incident, where a response will be required at short notice and the testing and reporting must be agreed upon with Council staff (and EPA when necessary) with consideration to the nature of the incident. Rapid turn-around on the results is imperative.
