Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited from appropriately qualified and experienced contractors to deliver Stage One of the redevelopment & expansion of Hume Street Park, Crows Nest.

Works include:

  • major demolition of existing buildings,
  • minor demolition,
  • underpinning & shoring,
  • concrete slabs,
  • piers & footings,
  • brickwork/blockwork &
  • masonry,
  • structural steelwork,
  • metalwork,
  • woodwork,
  • roofing and roof plumbing,
  • plastering,
  • painting,
  • hydraulic,
  • electrical services & lighting,
  • landscape works,
  • irrigation,
  • security & associated works.

The Tender documents may be obtained free of charge by registering on the e-tendering portal . If you experience difficulties accessing this website, please contact the helpdesk on 1800 233 533. Hard-copy documents will not be provided.

A pre-tender meeting will not be held due to Covid-19 social-distancing restrictions. However, Tenderers are encouraged to visit the site and failure by the Tenderer to do so may lead to rejection of the Tender.

The Date and Closing time for Tenders is Tuesday 1 September 2020 at 4pm sharp. Tenders are to be submitted in accordance with the Conditions of Tendering, either using the Electronic Tender Box via the e-tendering portal link above or lodged as hard-copy in a sealed envelope clearly marked with the contract name and number and placed into Council's Tender Box, ground floor of the Council Chambers building at the address below.

All enquiries are to be lodged via the online forum on the e-tendering portal. The forum for this tender will close at 4pm on Thursday 27 August 2020.

Council reserves the right not to accept any or all tenders received.
