Tenders for Temporary Traders Licences – For Temporary Commercial Activities

⁠⁠⁠Tauranga City Council invites tenders for the limited number of licences it grants annually for temporary commercial activities.

The selected foreshore reserves are:

• Mount Maunganui Main Beach
• Marine Parade - on the grassed reserve/conservation area on above Main Beach, between Adams Avenue and Pacific Avenue
• A range of coastal and inner harbour reserves
• McLaren Falls Park.

The licences on the foreshore reserves must be for services and do not provide for the sale of food, beverages or merchandise.

Food and beverage mobile shop licences include Blake Park, Memorial Park and Marine Parade opposite Mount Drury, between Grace Avenue and Pacific Avenue. The licences on Blake Park, Memorial Park and Marine Parade are for mobile shops, serving food and/or non alcoholic beverages.

Tenders are invited and evaluated in accordance with council’s temporary commercial activities on Reserves Policy and Mobile Shops Policy.
