Tender Description
Christchurch City Council now intends to openly publish a Request for Proposal for the construction of the Canterbury Multi-Use Arena (CMUA) on or around mid-September 2020. We would like to communicate this so that the market has further opportunity to place itself in the best position to submit Proposals, while we continue to work through our procurement strategy and draft the proposed RFP and contracts.
We are able to disclose at this point that as part of the RFP, we will be requesting Respondents to nominate their proposed Design & Construct team, including their construction management personnel and design team(s), but NOT sub-contractors or suppliers at that stage. This additional time therefore enables the market to have more in-depth discussions around their proposed teams prior to RFP publication.
