Tender Description
External Targeted WIES Audit is a consultancy of highly skilled coding audit resources to supplement our in-house audit resources.
The auditors are provided with a list of coded episodes meeting certain criteria which indicate the WIES may be potentially increased.
The medical record is reviewed (remotely) to determine if WIES for an episode can be increased via correction of codes assigned and/or via clarification of clinical documentation to enable complete and accurate classification.
The contracted auditor(s) will audit at least 100 acute episodes or more, across 4 consecutive days per month.
