Freight for Zoneguard Barriers and Accessories from M1 Projects to Narrabri

⁠⁠⁠Tenders are invited for the provision of Freight Services on the M1 Kariong to Somersby project to Transport for NSW (TfNSW) owned steel traffic barriers and accessories from the current M1 motorway projects to Narrabri.

The Scope of Services to be completed by the Freight Contractor includes:

The safe and timely pick-up and delivery of steel Zoneguard safety barriers, Tau II crash cushions, Absorb 350 crash cushions.

The goods are located at two locations and will be loaded by TfNSW crane and dogman at both of these locations. The locations are;

• Kariong to Somersby (K2S) M1 Widening project - 11 Pinnacle Place, Somersby NSW – 1170 steel Zoneguard safety barriers, 6 Tau II crash cushion approach end terminals, 11 Absorb 350 crash cushion departure ends and 6 pallet boxes of asphalt pins
• Tuggerah to Doyalson (T2D) M1 Upgrade project - Cnr St Johns Rd and Hue Hue Road, Jilliby NSW – 480 steel Zoneguard safety barriers, 5 Tau II crash cushion approach end terminals, and 4 pallet boxes of asphalt pins.

Deliver all items to Regional Maintenance Delivery (RMD), District Depot in Narrabri and an additional site located 8km away.

Placement of items onto trucks and removal of items from trucks are completed by TfNSW Contractors at each site location.
