Project Marinus Link is a 1500 megawatt capacity undersea electricity interconnector between Tasmania and Victoria, as part of Australia's future electricity grid.

The Marinus Link Business Case Assessment Report was released in December 2019 with funding support from the Australian Government through the Australia Renewable Energy Agency (ARENA) and the Tasmanian Government through TasNetworks.

Projects Marinus, comprising Marinus Link and supporting transmission developments in North West Tasmania is progressing the Design and Approvals Stage, made possible by the Australian Government.

Expression of Interest are invited from suitably qualified and experienced organisation to deliver a comprehensive community and customer engagement strategy and multiple fit-for-purpose engagement plans. This is the first stage of 2 stage selection process. TasNetworks expects to invite up to four shortlisted Applicants to participate in a Request of Proposal process for the provision of community and customer engagement services under one or more contracts.

Copies of the Request of EOI documentation will be made available from Monday 13th of July 2020 to applicants through TasNetworks electronic tendering portal, under TASNET-921122.

Applicants will need to register as user in order to be able to download the REOI documentation and in turn submit an EOI.

Responses must be lodged in our electronic tender box by the closing time of 2PM , Monday July 27, 2020.

All responses must be in accordance with the requirements of the REOI documents.

Applicants are encouraged in any EOI to maximise the opportunities for Tasminian Local businesses and local presence..
