Tender Description
Dulverton Waste Management is seeking proposals to design, construct and deliver a new organics recycling facility which will replace the existing composting facility.
Amongst other things, the New Facility will need to be designed and constructed so as to enable DWM to:
(a) irrigate, store and manage leachate production in compliance with all laws and industry best practice;
(b) manage odour in compliance with all laws and industry best practice and in a way which minimises complaints from adjoining property owners or occupiers;
(d) accept new organic feedstocks, and divert appropriate materials from landfill;
(e) process the organic feedstock by means of Composting, in accordance with Australian Standard 4454:2012, and industry best practice to produce a mature compost product compliant with the AS4454:2012 and relevant independent quality assurance standards (e.g. NASAA, BFA and
Freshcare); and
(f) enhance its established reputation as an innovative market leader.
The New Facility will need to be designed to accommodate composting a range of feedstocks including, but not limited to:
1. Biosolids, sewage sludge's;
2. Dairy Waste;
3. Green Waste;
4. Farm feed shed wastes
5. Garden Organics (Council Kerbside Collections); and
6. Food Organics Garden Organics (Council Kerbside Collections).
