Goolwa Oval Sporting Precinct Redevelopment, Stage 1 Design and Construct New Clubrooms

Alexandrina Council 11 Cadell St, Goolwa, SA, 5214 (the Council) invites tenders from Tenderers for the provision of Goolwa Oval Sporting Precinct Redevelopment, Stage 1 Design and Construct New Clubrooms (the Services). The Council will enter into a Contract for Services with the successful Tenderer.

The intent is to deliver a modular designed multi-functional shared sporting facility, with both male & female dedicated change / toilet facilities, amenities that will attract club, association, representative, State and other sporting and community events, be compliant, and work cohesively with the sporting bodies associated with the oval; football, cricket, netball, tennis, hockey and other ancillary sports.
The building will be located on the west side of the oval where the current club rooms and other buildings are located and will be designed to;
• minimise construction and ongoing costs and include environmentally sustainable systems and infrastructure;
• provide multi-use spaces that are flexible and capable of catering to changes in user demand over time;
• include male and female toilet amenities, kiosk / canteen / kitchen / social space and bar suitable for club activities and presentations;
• provide storage areas for club administration as well as maintenance equipment, playing and training items; and,
• meet requirements for high level competition in accordance with the sporting bodies associated with the facility.

A briefing session will be held at Corner of Dawson Street and Goyder Street, Goolwa, SA, Australia, 5214 on 11:00 AM 20 July 2020. A site visit is a pre-requisite to submission and consideration of a bid.
