Glen Street Library Amphitheatre Canopy Design and Construction

SERVICE REQUIRED:
Northern Beaches Council is the recipient of a grant for the design, supply and installation of a canopy structure to provide waterproof shade to the amphitheatre at Glen Street Library in Belrose. Councils preference is to receive a quotation for a supplier to provide design documentation for the purposes of a development application, as well as the supply and installation of a canopy structure. Councils preference is provide a retractable canopy structure that will meet the key design requirements listed below. The amphitheatre area to be covered is approximately 110 sqm.

As part of the request for quotation, a preliminary concept design has been provided to illustrate an example design. If an alternative design is to be proposed, provide a concept sketch of the proposed design for consideration as part of the evaluation of this request for quotation

The evaluation criteria for this quote are:

• RFQ Part C5 and C11, Personnel and Sub-contractors, 5%
• RFQ Part C6, Work Health and Safety, Pass/Fail
• RFQ Part C7, Insurance, Pass/Fail
• RFQ Part C8, Proposed Methodology, 25%
• RFQ Part C9, Schedule of Fees, 40%

SITE BRIEFING:
There will be no site briefing, however Tenderers are able to gain public access to the amphitheatre space to make their investigations. The amphitheatre is located adjacent the carpark to the west of the theatre / library building on Glen Street in Belrose
