Tender Description
A shade structure is required to cover the playground equipment and adjacent seating area. The playground equipment must be fully shaded between the hours of 9:00am and 3:00pm all year round.
All works and materials shall be in accordance with the relevant Australian Standard and best practice.
All shade sails are to be cyclone rated, shade sails that are designed to be taken down in strong winds are not to be installed.
All shade structures must be engineered to current NT Building Code. Shade structures are to be built to a locally approved wind rating in line with AS 1170.2 Structural Design Actions Part 2: Wind Actions wind loads as determined by a certified engineer based on the specific site conditions and any recommendations specified in the building permit.
Anti-Vandal Cones are required to be fitted to the posts.
