Hillside Terrace to Peat Street - Watermain Replacement

⁠⁠⁠Whanganui District Council (WDC) are inviting tenders from suitably experienced contractors for replacing the existing watermain from Hillside Terrace to Peat Street.

The scope of work includes but is not restricted to;

• Design and installation of all related 280 mm diameter PE pipe replacement works (length 380 meters, including 40 metres length of excavation and 340 meters length of directional boring) including valves and joining as per concept drawing.
• Incorporation of materials supplied by the Principal into the contract works.
• Planned work shut-offs with appropriate public notice.
• Disconnection and decommissioning of two existing mains.
• Full reinstatement in line with existing conditions.
• Relocation/realignment of all other utilities that may be required in order to deliver the scope.
