Council seeks to engage the private sector to activate and realise the potential of a large parcel of land approx 200m from the Kapunda Main Street, ultimately leading to the site’s sale and development by the private sector.
Having a total area of 5465m2, the site was home to the Kapunda Bowling Club who have since relocated to a new state-of-the-art, all-weather facility at Dutton Park.
The land is zoned Residential and subject to the provisions of Policy Area 10 Residential Kapunda per Councils Development Plan Consolidated 8 December 2016.
Council is calling for submissions from the private sector for the activation of this site where those submissions may include all or part of the site. Depending on the responses received, Council may be in a position to negotiate with one or multiple parties and is open to a range of development options to realise full activation of the site.
