Expressions of interest invited for Public Art Advisory Panel

⁠⁠⁠Wollongong City Council is renewing its Public Art Advisory Panel (PAAP) and is inviting Expressions of Interest from creative individuals looking to make a difference in the public arts space.

The PAAP will consist of a diverse panel of experts who will be invited to provide independent advice and recommendations in regard to the implementation of the Wollongong City Council Public Art and Creative Wollongong PDF, 10132.88 KB strategies and plans.

Membership will be for a term of up to two years. Members of the Public Art Advisory Panel will be expected to commit to approx. 25 hours per year and membership is on a voluntary basis.

We are seeking four panel members with a range of skills and perspectives, including:

• expertise in public art, visual arts, curatorial, architecture, design, creative and cultural planning or place-making
• experience with sponsorship, philanthropy, partnership and collaborative opportunities
• close connections to the Wollongong area
• cultural awareness and an understanding of arts inclusion.
