Scope of work
This project involves the expansion of the Nammuldi Waste Fines Storage Facility.
The works involve the raise of the existing embankment, removal and realignment of pipelines, construction of pipeline access tracks, spillway construction,
The Scope of Work will include, but may not be limited to the following activities:
- A 6m raise of an existing ~1.1km earth embankment (engineered fill);
- Removal, realignment, reinstatement and commissioning of pipelines, pumps and associated infrastructure;
- A large borrow operation (~1 million cubic meters);
- Continuous quantity and quality surveying, and marking out and protection of tenure boundaries and buried services;
- Clearing, grubbing, stripping and stockpiling organic matter and topsoil;
- Construction of drainage features and culvert installations;
- Potentially some drill & blast activities;
- Traffic management and management of multiple work fronts;
- Shut works and careful management of the ongoing tailings deposition and decant water return;
- Careful management of a critical construction schedule.
