Cardboard Recycling - Collection and Processing

⁠⁠⁠The Cradle Coast Waste Management Group (CCWMG) was formed in 2007 and represents seven north west Tasmanian municipal areas participating in the voluntary waste levy. It is made up by a representative from each council and includes practitioners skilled in engineering, environmental health, waste management, corporate governance and general management. The CCWMG receives project management expertise, communications and administration assistance and financial support from Dulverton Regional Waste Management Authority (DWM), trading as Cradle Coast Waste Services (CCWS).

CCWS on behalf of CCWMG is currently seeking competent contractors for cardboard recycling collection and processing. The services involve 2 options. Option 1, Bin Supply and Transport including supply of a container(s) on site for the storage of cardboard and emptying of the container and transport of cardboard to a materials recovery facility(MRF). Option 2, Processing of Cardboard including processing of cardboard, with proof provided that the cardboard has been appropriately recycled (not landfilled). Tenderers may apply for one or both options.

Cardboard is deposited at participating waste transfer stations(WTS) throughout the municipal areas.
