ABOUT CAMPBELLTOWN

Campbelltown City is a designated strategic centre and is just 53kms from the Sydney CBD, covering an area of 312 km2.
The City is home to more than 160,000 people with the population expected to reach 270,000 by 2031, and is a significant centre for the Macarthur region, providing a broad range of services and facilities including a major hospital, university, two TAFE colleges, arts centre, public transport, large shopping centres and a growing commercial and industrial sector.
Our location on the F5 provides residents and visitors with easy access to the wider Sydney metropolitan area. Residents enjoy this proximity while valuing the natural environment surrounding the city, including the Georges River, Scenic Hills, extensive bushland and rural lands.
Council's principal service centre is located at the Civic Centre in Queen Street, Campbelltown.
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
Council and Variety - The Children's Charity NSW/ACT (VNSW) - have entered a partnership to deliver an inclusive playspace at Glenfield Park. The aim of the project is to create a hub for the community - a high quality inclusive play space that caters for everyone.
Council requires a suitably experienced contractor to construct the new playspace at Glenfield Park, Glenfield.
The scope of works include:
- site preparation and establishment,
- demolition,
- bulk earthworks,
- drainage,
- Hardworks including pavements, edges, and walls;
- Softworks including planting,
- mulching,
- soil works and turf;
- furniture and fixtures including seating, picnic settings and shelters,
- fencing, bins and drinking fountain;
- playground facilities including safety softfall surfaces,
- play equipment and shade sails,
- signage including custom made signs.
