AFSA is seeking a UX/Interaction Designer to transform our services to meet the expectations of our clients in an uncertain economic environment.

The UX/interaction Designer will design the front end of web software and platforms that meet people’s needs. You will combine interfaces and workflows to enhance the user experience. In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems.

Duties will include:
• Work with the full design process from analysing business problems to designing solutions and supporting throughout the implementation
• Work closely with user researchers and service designers to gain user insights, identify opportunities, validate concepts, and socialize ideas across the team
• Define the right interaction model and evaluate its success
• Understand product specifications and user psychology
• Develop wireframes and prototypes, usability testing and gather feedback
• Effectively communicate, defend, and build consensus around concepts and direction
• Communicate Interaction/UX design considerations to different audiences, including developers, business stakeholders management and potential users
• Find creative ways to solve UX problems (e.g. usability, findability)
• Apply your expert knowledge of UX industry trends to AFSA’s business domain
