Tender Description

Supply of the following equipment:

  •  1 x 11kV metal clad switchboard (withdrawable circuit breakers) and protection relays
  •  2 x 2MVA - 11/0415kV cast resin dry type transformers and
  •  3 x 900kW 11/3.3kV variable speed drives (to initially be connected to existing in-service motors)
  •  Supply of specialised tools and trucks to allow operation and maintenance of the equipment

Supply of the following services:

  •  Configuration and setting of relays using data provided by GWCC in the form of a protection settings report
  •  Performing factory acceptance testing (FAT) on the fully assembled switchboard (with protection relays fitted)
  •  Performing FAT on the two transformers
  • Performing FAT on the three variable speed drives
  •  Supply of all equipment drawings in CAD and PDF formats
  •  Storage of the high voltage equipment post FAT and prior to delivery to Site
  •  Delivery of all equipment to Site
  •  Inspection and sign off, of installed equipment
  •  Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) on switchboard, VSDs and transformers and issuing of "ready to Liven" certificate for SATed equipment and
  •  Delivery of training on operation and maintenance of all the supplied equipment

Note installation of the high voltage equipment will be undertaken by other
