Tender Description
CTW are proposing to construct an additional 12 ML Clear Water Storage Tank at its Carcoar Water treatment facility, Fell Timber Rd, Carcoar NSW 2791.
The proposed tank design includes the cut and fill of existing ground conditions and subsequent sub-grade preparation to create a surface suitable for housing the tank. The proposed tank is circular in footprint and approximately 40 metre in diameter.
The floor and side walls of the tank are proposed to be constructed with reinforced concrete with the roof constructed from aluminium framing and roof sheeting. The tank will be connected to DN 375 inlet and outlet pipework, with DN 450 pipework connected for overflow purposes.
The roof of the tank will be accessible via an external steel staircase. A maintenance roadway surrounding the tank will be connected to an existing hardstand area via a 4 metre wide asphalt access road.
