A bit about us:
Carterton is a small town located a little to the west of the eastern foothills of Remutaka Range, 69 km north-east of Wellington and 14 km south-west of Masterton. Carterton is typical of small New Zealand towns with various sporting clubs a public swimming pool, primary schools, hospital, retirement homes, walking tracks, service stations, an historic railway station and a number of cafes. The Carterton water supply uses water from two different sources. The primary source is the Kaipaitangata Stream which is fed from the Tararua Ranges and discharges into the Ruamahanga River. Three bores in Frederick St, Carterton provide additional water as required.
