Tender Description

⁠⁠⁠Scope of work
General Construction Works
• Install two roller doors to north and south end of building, including relocation of existing services,
• Re-direct stormwater piping from the North apron, and perform remedial works to the building exit ramp on to the North apron,
• Clear and demarcate a vehicle parking area,
• Convert the existing tool store into a refrigerated cool room for storage of belt splicing consumables, including Category 2 Flammable liquids,
• Clear out workshop, including relocating workshop machinery,
• Cleaning of concrete slab surfaces and painting of demarcation zones,
• Relocate belt splicing equipment from the current belt splicing shed to the main workshop,
• Design and install concrete footings for 55 ton portal crane.

Demolition
• Remove and dispose of external crane raking beams at main workshop,
• Demolish the current belt splicing workshop, retaining the footing and concrete pad so that it can be used for sea container or other temporary storage.

Sub Contractor Management
• Manage procurement, installation and commissioning of a 55 ton portal crane including certifications, (nominated Sub-Contractor for supply and install of Crane)
• Manage procurement, installation and commissioning of a new dual belt reeling system, (nominated Sub-Contractor for supply of dual belt reeling system)
