Supply and Delivery of Chemicals for Swimming Pool Treatment, Drinking Water Treatment and Sewerage Treatment

⁠⁠⁠Council is establishing a supplier arrangement for the supply and delivery of chemicals for:

• Swimming Pool Treatment
• Drinking Water Treatment
• Sewerage Treatment

The intent of this Tender is to lock in a long-term supply, storage and delivery arrangement that will reduce Council’s costs and improve the availability, supply and delivery of these chemicals. This Tender may be awarded in separable portions if that provides the best overall outcome for Council. Accordingly, Tenderers may bid for one or more Separable Portions.

The most likely separable portions will be:

• Bulk Liquid Sodium Hypochlorite (preference to be delivered by tanker)
• Bulk Sodium Hypochlorite (IBC) or 200 litre drum
• All other chemicals (20 litre, 5 litre and bags)

The final separable portions will be determined as part of the assessment process.

The initial term for this tender will be for three (3) years with an option for another 2 x 1 year extensions at Councils discretion. It is expected that the agreement/s will commence in early July 2020.
