Expression of Interest - Disposal of vehicles

⁠⁠⁠The Shire of Collie requests expressions of interest for the purchase of approximately 15 to 20 impounded vehicles per year. The Shire seeks to enter into a 3 year contract (01/07/2020 to 30/06/2023) with the successful party to;

Option 1 - Dispose of these vehicles on a flat price rate per vehicle. These vehicles are of various conditions and values and are offered on a ‘as is, where is’ basis. The vehicles are to be collected from the Shire’s Depot and collection costs from this location are to be factored into the agreedprice.

Option 2 - Tow abandoned vehicle to the Shire Depot where they are stored for the required period, then disposed as per option 1, under this option the towing of any claimed vehicles will be off set against current towing market rates.

Option 3 - Tow and store at private facility on behalf of Shire for the required period, then disposed as per option 1, under this option the towing of any claimed vehicles will be off set against current market rates.

It is requested that all expressions of interest be submitted in writing, including relevant contact details to the Shire at 87 Throssell Street, Collie or to colshire@collie.wa.gov.au before Friday 12 June 2020. The Shire reserves the right to reject any or all expressions of interest for any reason.
