The vessel ‘Napier’ is currently stored on a hard stand at the Department of Transport (DoT) Boating Facility, Jervoise Bay Cove, Woodman Point Recreation Reserve Munster, Western Australia
‘Napier’ was grounded at Creery Island DBCA Nature Reserve Peel Inlet and, pursuant to section 71 of the Western Australian Marine Act 1982 (WAMA), was removed and transported to Woodman Point by salvage contractors engaged by DoT.
The Item is being sold pursuant to section 71(3) of the WAMA. DoT is seeking offers for the purchase and removal of this vessel as described below. The vessel is considered to be in poor condition, in its current state.
