Tender Description
There are approximately 3,500 adult sheep and 5,000 lambs at Struan Research Centre and 2000 adult sheep at Kybybolite Research Centre. Shearing and crutching is required at various times of the year namely October and November for shearing and April and September for crutching.
One or more contractors will be required to provide shearing and crutching services which must include shearers, crutchers, shed hands and a wool classer, as there is not suitable staff numbers employed by SARDI to complete the task. The proposed start date of this contract will be 01/07/2020 and will run until 30/06/2021 with the option to extend for a further 1 + 1 years following annual reviews.
