Expression of Interest: Zeehan Town Hall

⁠⁠⁠Council is looking for expressions of interest for the Zeehan Community Hall. Councils aim is to see the facility actively maintained and utilised.

The West Coast Council is seeking Expressions of Interest for the Zeehan Community Hall Wilson Street Zeehan.

The Zeehan Community Hall was handed back to Council in June 2019 from the Zeehan Gem and Mineral Association Inc. who had ownership of the facility since February 2008.

Councils aim is to see the facility actively maintained and utilised for social/ and or economic development and retained within the community.

Leasing of the facility by a community group or commercial business would require that the lessee is responsible for all compliance in accordance with the Building Act 2016 taking the place of Council as the owner.
