Tender Description

Blackall Tambo Regional Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified suppliers for Trade Services.

*****Tenderers that have previously submitted a tender for Blackall-Tambo Regional Council Trade Service and do not wish to add any additional resources do not need to resubmit in this tender.

*****Tenderers that wish to add additional resources to their list of resources, should complete the relevant sections of the tender. Please contact Hans Muller at Peak Services for any clarification.

*****Tenderers that are not yet on the register need to complete the entire tender documentation.

Council is preparing a register of Pre-qualified Suppliers. This Register of Prequalified Suppliers provides Council with a list of rates for trade services that may be available for work during the contract period. The trades may work anywhere within the Blackall Tambo Regional Council on works organised by the Council. The trades may be required to operate independently of, or with Council owned plant for periods of time throughout the year.

The Blackall Tambo Region is located in central west Queensland approximately 900km north west of Brisbane, covering an area encompassing 30,000 sq km with an estimated population of 1416 people.

The Regional Council includes the towns of Blackall and Tambo which both lie on the historic Barcoo River.

The Blackall-Tambo Regional Council was formally created in March 2008 as part of a state government amalgamation reform. Council is comprised of the former Blackall and Tambo Shire Councils, with the main office located in Blackall. The Council is dedicated to sustaining and enhancing the appealing rural lifestyle within the region by the provision of high quality services and facilities and through a collaborative and supportive community environment.
