Tender Description
The existing Carrington Park Grandstand facility is to be upgraded from the current 1100 person grandstand seating capacity to 2200 person undercover seating capacity. The current preferred configuration of the expanded grandstand is to duplicate the current grandstand footprint, with half being extended to the north and half extended to the south
The Quotation shall be for the completion of the whole scope, unless otherwise stated in the Quotation Documents and shall include the following:
1. Investigations and assessment of required utility service upgrades and redirections.
2. Conduct a needs assessment of the existing grandstand pavilion building to assess the facility upgrades and additional floor space areas required to comply with NRL Preferred Facility Guidelines for Grassroots Rugby League 2014 for State facility level (hereafter referred to as NRL Guidelines).
3. Prepare minimum of two preliminary concept design options and provisionally a third preliminary concept design option for extension of grandstand and incorporation of additional floor space areas and facility upgrades to meet the NRL Guidelines.
4. Preparation of Opinion of Probable costs for each option including the estimates costs of any utility adjustments.
5. Presentation of preliminary concept designs to stakeholder group for decision on preferred option.
6. Preparation of refined concept design based on decision on preferred option.
7. Preparation of package of documentation suitable for design and construct tender including drawings, specifications and tender pricing schedule.
8. Preparation of pre-tender opinion of probable costs.
