Derwent Valley Council provides and maintains an extensive network of civil infrastructure supporting a range of services over an area of 4,111km2. Situated west of Hobart, the primary service centre of the Municipality is New Norfolk where the planned contract works are situated.
Derwent Valley Council has a commitment to providing and managing a high quality network of assets and enhancing local industries to support our community needs. In pursuit of efficient service delivery and value for money, seeks interest for delivering services as described in the Contract documents
The Council requires security services and remote monitoring for Council owned properties within the municipality. The services generally shall include:
- Remote monitoring of building alarm systems,
- Daily patrol services (after-hours), and
- The locking of public amenities as per the schedule provided within this scope.
A key part of the decision making will be the Derwent Valley Council's understanding of Contractor competency and experience in delivering the services, and Contractor's ability to deliver cost effectively and provide measurable value propositions for quality and safety outcomes.
