Supply of Concrete Crushing Services

⁠⁠⁠Derwent Valley Council provides and maintains an extensive network of civil infrastructure over an area of 4,111km2. Situated west of Hobart, the primary service centre of the Municipality is New Norfolk where the planned contract works are situated.

Derwent Valley Council operates a landfill site at Peppermint Hill which accepts waste concrete products for treatment and disposal.

This contract is for the annual supply of concrete crushing services. Derwent Valley Council requires waste concrete delivered to the Peppermint Hill Refuse site on Dean Street, New Norfolk to be crushed and stockpiled. The annual quantity of waste concrete delivered to the refuse site varies from year to year.

The contract will be a schedule of rates basis, and span three financial years, ending 30 June 2023 dependent on cost benefit to Council.
